HBO | HABLA

Trina produced HBO Latino's original documentary series, Habla, for over a decade through her first production company, Latino Media Works. The award-winning show featured real people and celebrities sharing personal stories within the broader context of the U.S. Latinx experience. She also directed three community portraits: Making Habla, Habla Mas in Chicago and Día de los muertos:  A Day for the Living.

AARP| CADA PASO DEL CAMINO

Trina produced AARP's award-winning, bilingual documentary about caregiving in the U.S. Latinx community. Segments of the documentary reached over seven million views on Facebook and it was part of the official selection at New York Latino Film Festival.

HBO | DAY OF THE DEAD

Trina directed and produced this short film in San Antonio, Texas during their Day of the Dead celebration as a supplemental piece to HBO Latino's Habla Texas. Trina had never really understood the celebration until then, and was so moved, she now creates an altar for her deceased family members and friends, every year.
